Legal Ombudsman criticised by Court “findings were irrational and perverse, and therefore should never have been made”

The High Court has criticised the Legal Ombudsman.   LeO decisions are seldom considered in court so we don’t often get to hear what a Judge thinks of their work.  In this case the Judge was pretty critical of what took place on both sides of the argument and he commences his judgement with the words:

“This is a sorry saga and one from which nobody emerges with any credit”.

another quote is that the Legal Ombudsman’s

“findings were irrational and perverse, and therefore should never have been made”
